Samāruh (समारुह्)

to ascend; to rise to.The partnership engine builder.

Build your next
growth channel.

If you’re ready for partnerships to become the next growth stage for your company, but you don’t yet have the strategy, relationships or internal capability to make it happen, I build what you need to turn partnerships into a functioning growth channel.

Partnerships usually start with the founder, CEO or commercial team. A relationship here, an introduction there, a conversation that becomes an opportunity. For a while, that works.

But that’s not a channel.

I build the strategy, pipeline, relationships, commercial model and systems around it, prove what works, then hand it to your team.

Samāruh (समारुह्)

To ascend.
To rise to.

The meaning

Samāruh (समारुह्): to ascend; to rise to.

It speaks to moving beyond the channels that brought you this far. When the next stage calls for a new audience, ecosystem, distribution route or source of qualified demand, partnerships can be that move. Samaruh builds the infrastructure that makes it repeatable.

The problem

Your CEO shouldn't have to be your Head of Partnerships.

For many startups and scaleups, partnerships begin organically. A founder knows someone. A commercial leader makes an introduction. An opportunity appears.

Then everyone gets busy. The relationship sits in an inbox. There's no clear proposition, follow-up, pipeline or measure of value. When the person holding the relationships moves on, the network can go with them.

That's not a partnership channel. It's founder-led business development, and it doesn't scale.

The shift

From relationships to infrastructure.

The founder’s network is an asset. It shouldn't be a dependency. Samaruh builds the structure around it, so the company owns the capability.

Two people in conversation connected by a growing partnership ecosystem
From

“Honey, can you introduce me to…”

To“Here’s our partnership pipeline.”
From

“I’ll introduce you.”

To“Here’s how our partner programme works.”
From

“We should do something together.”

To“Here’s the commercial proposition and activation plan.”
From

“The CEO has a lot of relationships.”

To“The company has a partnership engine.”

The distinction

A network isn't a channel.

You can have 500 relationships, 50 warm introductions and a CRM full of contacts, and still have no partnership function.

A network becomes a channel when there's a reason to engage, a repeatable process, clear ownership, a commercial exchange and a way to measure what it produces.

The core engagement

90 days. From ad hoc partnerships to a functioning growth channel.

The objective isn't to become your permanent outsourced partnerships department. It's to build the function, prove the opportunity and leave your team with the foundations to continue.

What partnerships can do

The model follows the commercial problem.

There's no universal partnership playbook. First define what the partnership needs to do. Then build it.

01

Referral

Turn complementary businesses into a source of qualified introductions.

02

Co-marketing

Combine audiences through content, events, campaigns and education.

03

Distribution

Access customers or channels that would be expensive to reach alone.

04

Strategic alliances

Create commercial relationships around complementary capabilities.

05

Ecosystem

Build relationships across the organisations surrounding your ICP.

06

Market entry

Use trusted local relationships to establish distribution and credibility.

Who it's for

You have outgrown founder-led partnerships.

For founders, CEOs, CROs and commercial leaders who know partnerships should be bigger, but don't have the time to build the function themselves.

  • The founder, CEO, CRO or commercial team is carrying most partnership activity.
  • Valuable relationships exist but aren't systematically activated.
  • Partnerships generate occasional opportunities but aren't yet a measurable GTM channel.
  • You're considering a Partnerships Manager, but the role would currently be a blank page.

It's not the right time if product-market fit's not established, the ICP is unclear, or the need is simply more introductions.

About01 / 01

Built by Honey Honar

Commercial strategy meets relationship-building.

I build partnership functions for startups and scaleups that have outgrown founder-led partnerships.

I have 15+ years across sales, relationship-building and commercial growth, including SaaS, AI, eCommerce and high-growth businesses. I'm repeatedly brought into teams where everyone agrees partnerships should work, but nobody has actually built the function.

I don't just advise on the strategy. I get into the conversations, test the proposition, develop the relationships, build the systems, then hand it over.

Honey Honar, founder of Samaruh
“The goal is to make partnerships work without me.”

Every engagement is designed around a handover. Your next Partnerships Manager should inherit a strategy, a pipeline, relationships, a process, a playbook and evidence of what works.

Frequently asked

A finite build, not an open-ended dependency.

How long does an engagement last?

The standard Partnership Build is approximately 90 days. Exact scope depends on the business, market and starting point.

Why three months?

The goal is to build and prove the function, then transfer it to your team. It's not designed to create a permanent outsourced department.

Do you actually secure partnerships?

Yes. The work includes partner identification, outreach, relationship development, commercial conversations and working towards activation.

What happens after the build?

The function can be handed to an internal owner, or Honey can stay close in a retained advisory role while your team runs the day-to-day.

Ways to work together

Start with clarity. Build the engine. Keep the momentum.

Every route is designed to create a decision, a functioning channel or the confidence to keep moving without an outsourced dependency.

What could the right partner channel unlock?

If partnerships are somewhere on your GTM roadmap but nobody has actually built the function, let’s start with the commercial problem and whether partnerships could solve it.
